As Group Accounting Manager, you'll run a fast, reliable close across our Belgian and French entities, own consolidation and compliance, and bring accounting in-house step by step from our external partners.

🎯 Your impact

You'll make sure every number Harmoney reports can be trusted, on time, in every entity.

From the monthly close and consolidation to audits, tax compliance and revenue recognition, you'll build an accounting function that keeps pace with our ambition to become a European leader in third-party risk management, scaling quickly to €25M+ ARR. You'll work side by side with our FP&A Manager and report directly to the CFO.

🚀 What you'll do

• Own the monthly close for Belgium and France within a fixed calendar, including accruals, deferrals, prepayments, fixed assets and balance sheet reconciliations

• Own consolidation and group reporting, including intercompany reconciliation and eliminations, and deliver reliable actuals to FP&A

• Ensure statutory and tax compliance: prepare statutory accounts under Belgian and French GAAP, lead the yearly audit, and manage VAT, corporate income tax and other filings with our external accountants and tax advisors

• Own revenue accounting: correct SaaS revenue recognition, deferred revenue and the link between billing, the ledger and ARR

• Control cash and working capital: own bank reconciliations and treasury operations, and supervise AP, AR, payment preparation and collections

• Build the accounting function for scale: strengthen internal controls, document processes and automate the close in Odoo using automation and AI, together with our Business Operations team

• Partner with the FP&A Manager and the Business Operations team to further improve revenue reporting, planning and controlling processes

🧩 You'll thrive in this role if you...

• Have 7 to 10 years of experience in accounting or audit (Big Four or mid-tier a plus), including multi-entity or multi-country closes

• Know Belgian GAAP well, with French GAAP and IFRS as a strong plus

• Have hands-on experience with consolidation, intercompany and statutory reporting

• Understand how actuals feed budgets and forecasts, and enjoy explaining variances to the business

• Are rigorous, structured and take pride in a clean, well-documented close

• Enjoy using modern ERPs, automation and AI to remove manual work

• Are fluent in English and in Dutch or French, with professional proficiency in the other language
